Getting to know Valnerina
A magnificent territory rich in nature, history, popular traditions and gastronomy; a green valley which takes the name of the river which passes through it; the Nera. Travelling upriver, we reach the Valnerina plateau, a landscape where it is still possible to clearly see the imprints and traces left by millennia of human presence in the area, the culture and history of the populations which live along the Apennine Mountains.

An ‘anthropized’ scenery, characterised by fortifications and medieval towers, by imposing abbeys and solitary hermitages, by small villages with an innocent charm, in which man, participating in the environment surrounding him, has slowed down the passing of time to pay his tribute to nature which still shows aspects of extraordinary and intact beauty.
